Fighting hunger in Tompkins County NY.

Donatations Needed!

Joan Barber at United Way's Day of Caring, September 2010
More than ever local pantries are facing challenges in keeping up with the increasing demand feeding people who are food insecure or hungry.

Please consider becoming involved with a local food pantry listed to see what is needed to help your neighbors and friends.

Pantries are funded through Federal, State, local government and private organizations and individuals.

Pantries welcome food drives and personal donations of fresh produce, shelf stable foods, baby supplies, and personal care products such as shampoo and bar soap.

Please don't forget pet food!

During summer months pantries welcome fresh garden produce donations from your gardens!  Please consider "Plant A Row for the Hungry" in your garden to designate toward a pantry of your choice.

Monetary donations are gratefully accepted in the form of checks and sent to -
